Berland is a student at Pearl Bailey High School. While demonstrating to Steve that his persona of Josh Bycel is popular in "License to Till", Roger greets Berland by offering to put a baby in his sister, to which Berland requests a baby himself.

Berland also appears in "The Scarlett Getter", playing dodgeball and slapping Steve's butt in the gym locker along with Vince Chung.
