Daesong Shipyard

The Daesong Shipyard in Seoul, South Korea is where Stan takes the family when he becomes a modern-day Noah in order to reaffirm his religion in "Daesong Heavy Industries" by finding a ship as large as the hypothetical biblical ark.

As they enter the yard, Roger and Jeff briefly depart the family in order to pursue a shipment of overalls with the pocket in the front, a style they both enjoy. Stan finds his liquefied natural gas tanker, and is greeted by Robert Kim of Daesong Heavy Industries, who informs him that they guilt the ship on direct order from God for him and send him off to the "Noah Experience" for training.

After he leaves, Kim reassures the family that they have set up the facility after it became a recurring problem with would-be Noahs seeking out their large ships, so they gather them all together to put on a show and send them on their way satisfied that they have enacted their fantasy. Stan realizes that it is all fake so he actually takes over the ship after the other Noah's have left. He leads the family through the ship where they find it is actually loaded with real animals heading to a zoo, although this confuses Steve as Roger and Jeff rejoin them. As it starts to storm outside, Stan asks them all to accept his faith and Steve is the first to join in as there are so many unanswered questions about why a tanker ship is hauling animals. Francine also joins in, but when Hayley sets out to leave, a flood and lighting in the city stops her as they sail the ship away from the shipyard.
