  • When Steve remarks to his friends that none of them have had girlfriends, Toshi remembers that he had a wife for a while, referencing to Svetlana from "Of Ice and Men".
  • When Steve is talking about who he has to convince to vote for Debbie, he mentions a group called "The Baggy Pants Mafia," which is a nod to the Columbine High School shooting, where the shooters were thought to be part of a group called the "Trench Coat Mafia."
