Jed Farnsworth is the owner of the Cherino Concrete Corporation who asks Francine to head his Portland division after she assumes the identity of a deceased convention attendee in "Fartbreak Hotel". Jed's offer is too much for Francine to resist and she abandons her family and life to become a successful businesswoman.
