Stan brings Klaus a blind fish from a CIA experiment. (Who quickly dies but Klaus has sex with it anyways.) Francine notifies Stan that their 20th Anniversary is coming up. Roger (dressed up as his new persona Jeanie Gold) offers to help plan their wedding renewal. After Stan makes it clear that he only married Francine because of her looks. Francine decides to reenact their wedding by staying away from Stan for two weeks. But while she is away, Francine quits trying to look pretty as a test of love. When Stan sees her, he is upset that she has let herself go, and goes to great lengths to try and make it work, eventually blinding himself. Francine is at first shocked but Stan turns out to be a much better person and lover. But when Stan points out that Francine will have to take care of him, she starts to have second thoughts realizing she is just as petty as Stan. Having blown their budget in their previous attempts, Stan and Francine finally renew their vows at Pizza Overlord.

Scared by Roger's persona Valik, Steve and Hayley struggle to find Roger's idea the perfect wedding gift. When they fail they flee to somewhere South of the border followed by Valik.
