Tisquantum (better known as Squanto) (c. 1580s – November 1622) was the Native American who assisted the Pilgrims after their first winter in the New World and was integral to their survival.

In a Rankin-Bass inspired flashback in "There Will Be Bad Blood", Stan recounts how the pilgrims landed and survived the first year with the aid of Squanto and other native Americans, only to kill them to take their land by giving him and the Native Americans exploding corn.
