Source that Hayley changed her name?
It's only been two episodes since Hayley got married and not once has she mentioned whether she's keeping her last name or changing her last name. So I think we should leave well enough alone until we get confirmation. The only thing close was that she signed the escape letter as "Mrs. Jeff Fischer" but that doesn't prove anything. - Jasonbres 15:44, November 7, 2010 (UTC)
Frankly, I've got my doubts too but that's why I locked the move on the page without changing any links...and will stop any attempts to do so outside of the most recent episode (They certainly had not been married before the very end of 100 A.D.) Son of Stan certainly appears that they were married although the name question remains. Given that Hayley is in an upcoming episode we'll wait and see. --Buckimion 15:52, November 7, 2010 (UTC)
Number of episodes that Hayley cuss/swear
Hey, guys, I'm gonna think of how many episodes that Hayley Dreamsmasher Smith/Fischer drop the F-bomb and sweared. The only episodes I could think of that Hayley swears are Home Adrone and A Piñata Named Desire, is there any episodes that Hayley drops the F-bomb and swears? Anyone?
I'm not doing a review just to see. If anyone else has all of the episodes and time on their hands, be my guest to answer this one. --Buckimion 20:50, August 5, 2011 (UTC)
Does it have mention where they live, and that they live with Klaus and Roger? It's unnecessary exposition that would only seem neccesary for the family's own page, not to be on every member's own page. -- Anythingspossibleforapossible (talk) 09:43, October 23, 2012 (UTC)
Is Hayley still only 18? Might she be 21 now?
Yes, I realize that Steve hasn't aged. However, in The Kidney Stays in the Picture, she's out drinking with her mom. Perhaps she was drinking in public, with her mom, as a minor (and anyway American Dad has a hefty element of surrealness or non-realness to it). But might she now be effectively 21?18.104.22.168 00:43, December 11, 2012 (UTC)
Okay, okay... no reason to be testy. I'm not suggesting we "make up our own facts"... I was just asking a question.--22.214.171.124 21:55, December 11, 2012 (UTC)
Sorry, I didn't mean to sound testy. I was just pointing out how we operate here. Stan and Francine tend to bounce back and forth all over the place and keeping track of them is a pain in the neck. :D --Buckimion (talk) 22:03, December 11, 2012 (UTC)
How did Hayley get her middle name?
Stan says that he gave up his original dream of discovering Oliver North's hidden gold when Hayley was born in a story he told in "Stanny Slickers 2: The Legend of Ollie's Gold". Thus, he named her "Dreamsmasher." --Buckimion (talk) 23:41, March 24, 2013 (UTC)
Since the most recent season finale seems to confirm Jeff is gone for good, should we go back to calling her just Hayley Smith? QueenCeline, Shining Like Diamonds in the Sky 02:53, October 4, 2014 (UTC)
No. She is still legally married and we know Jeff returns later. ("Holy Shit, Jeff's Back!") Besides, what is she going to tell the cops in a missing persons report? Kidnapped by aliens? For the time being, we don't even use her surname in episodes due to the situation if she accepted his name being unclear at this time. --Buckimion (talk) 03:05, October 4, 2014 (UTC)--Buckimion (talk) 03:05, October 4, 2014 (UTC)
Treatment of Hayley in newer episodes
In the latest episodes, it appears Hayley has been treated a bit worse than usual. Given that she had her hair cut off in 'The Dentist's Wife', vomited on by Roger in 'Roger's Baby', and disfigured in 'The Mural of the Story'. Are the writers developing anti-Hayley sentiment?
