Wayne is a clerk at the Music Hut.
Roger, Jeff and Steve stop at in Music Hut in an attempt to help Jeff find a "turin", a musical instrument that he hallucinated after drinking psychedelic tea in "Standard Deviation". When they inquire about it, Wayne insists that he has never heard of it as Jeff describes it as similar to a lute and a bagpipe combined. He also describes the "yarl wood" material it is constructed from. In his passion for the project, Roger smashes a guitar, which leads Jeff to suggest they move on until later. When Jeff successfully builds and uses the turin to pacify Avery Bullock, Roger takes the instrument back to the shop to flaunt it before Wayne as actually existing.
