< You Debt Your Life
- The title is a parody of the 1940s/50s game show "You Bet Your Life".
- When Roger is about to get run over by the bus, he holds his arms out and says, "I did it perfectly!" This is a direct reference to the ending of Black Swan in which Nina (Natalie Portman) gives the performance of her life as both the Black and White Swan, but is actually dying from a self-inflicted wound on her stomach.
- The opening scene with Roger drunk and dancing in a bar is a reference to the 1988 film The Accused.
